Selling a property you’ve inherited, often while grieving and juggling siblings with different opinions, is one of the more emotional transactions I handle. I help coordinate the estate clean-out, manage any repairs or staging, and guide families through decisions where not everyone agrees. One important lesson I share with every trust-sale client: when a buyer requests a repair credit, that number gets divided among the siblings and usually costs far less than it seems. I’ve seen families hold out over a disagreement on a repair credit and ultimately sell for much less down the road. My job is to help you see the full picture so you don’t leave money on the table.
